Overkill Achievement: Deal 666k With One Nuke

Overkill is a crowd-density challenge. Do not kill the wave efficiently—hold enough weakened orcs in one place, then make a single nuke hit the entire mass.

Fast community method: create a continuous Cryo Beam wall at a spawn until the fuel is nearly gone, then drop one nuke on the packed crowd before the freeze barrier ends.

Method A: Cryo wall at the spawn

  1. Enter a map with a dense spawn and enough room to collect the wave. The method is about target count, not reaching the base.
  2. Avoid towers that kill the crowd too early. Build only the control needed to keep the run alive long enough.
  3. Draw a continuous Cryo Beam wall across the spawn flow. Keep adding to the barrier so incoming orcs compress behind it.
  4. Watch the packed area, not the base. When the horde is dense and Cryo fuel is nearly spent, prepare the Nuke.
  5. Drop one Nuke in the center of mass. It must deal at least 666k total damage in that single use.

Method B: Level 5.2 control funnel

A separate release-week discussion recommends Level 5.2: use Gas or Slow Grenades on the sides of the funnel, use Mortars carefully to keep orcs away from the opening, add Cryo as the mass approaches, and place the nuke squarely in the packed center. This method gives more setup structure but also more ways to kill or scatter the targets too soon.

A level-one Nuke has been reported to work

One current community guide reports clearing the threshold with a level-one Nuke by maximizing crowd density. Another route recommends upgrading the Nuke. If the first attempt falls short, improve density before assuming the ability needs to be maxed.

Failure checklist

  • Damage is short: collect more orcs or keep them healthier before the blast.
  • The group disperses: drop the Nuke earlier, before the Cryo or slow effect expires.
  • Mortars spread the pack: reduce knockback or switch to the Cryo-wall method.
  • Towers steal the damage: remove or reposition anything killing the stored crowd.
  • You die before the setup: choose a more manageable map or strengthen permanent ability upgrades.
